I will interpret Blondchen in a duet from Mozart Entführung aus dem Serail. It is a lovely duet, with charming passages and also very funny ones. I'm enjoying myself preparing it!

What if, by a sunny Friday afternoon, you find yourself unable to configure Apache2 with SSL and ever again get the same message: Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long
?
That happened to me so I frantically checked everything: the SSL certificate was OK, the Apache configuration syntax also, the port numbers too, the module was loaded and the vhost configuration was OK also.
Looked everywhere on the web. Nothing helped.

Cela faisait longtemps...
La version 1.4 de GNU Edu est sortie.
Cette version comporte des améliorations dans l'édition des mots-clés, des traductions, et introduit l'idée des listes de chapitres, ou tables des matières.

It has been a long time...
GNU Edu version 1.4 is out, with enhancements in keywords editing, translations and curricula re-organized in "chapter sets" (ie table of contents) . Additionnally, there is now a Traditional Chinese localization.

I first heard about darcs in a conference by Julius Chroboczek, at the Ecole Normale Supérieure of Cachan (Paris).
Julius is a math guy, and a good speaker, and he had been using darcs for years already, so I thought ok this is not vaporware ..
Darcs is a distributed versioning system like git, but easier to use.
I have read every comparison page I could find on distributed versioning software, and darcs still stands as a very good choice, even the best one, for people who mention it and actually tried it out. And as we@OFSET were needing such a tool for the association docs, we decided to give darcs a try.

On Wednesday I sung, among others, in a theatre not far from home, and the performance was recorded by my companion.
I'm not very satisfied with my own singing, I even tend to prefer my first Poulenc, but this is also very beautiful music (Debussy, Mozart) and maybe I render some of its beauty.

The first time I met Jacques Gélinas was at Linux Expo Durham (North Carolina) in Spring 1998, so it will soon be 10 years ago.
