The 9th Libre Software Meeting will be held at Mont de Marsan, Landes, in SW France, from the 1 to the 5 of July. LSM is an international free software event taking place in Jully, each year, in a town of France. The first event took place in 2000 at Bordeaux. This year, Squeak/Smalltalk will be largely represented with conferences and workshops.

Au cours de mon intervention "Logiciels libres et éducation" de la journée Aquitaine Libre 2006, j'ai présenté quelques aspects sociaux de la communauté du logiciel libre. En particulier j'ai souligné la différence qu'il existe entre une communauté bâtie autour d'un logiciel libre et une autre autour d'un logiciel propriétaire (non libre).

La mission d'audit de modernisation de l'état a établi en mars 2007 un intéressant rapport de plus de 50 pages sur la situation des TICE dans l'Education Nationale. A plusieurs reprises il est fait mention du logiciel libre et des ressources libres produites par les enseignants.

Xavi de Blas sent me this sketch to calculate a body gravity center. The file is huge and I will include it in the next Dr.Geo 11.12 release.
